META´S CULTURE 

  It´s  a very diverse culture because of its varieties of personalities such as music, art, typical foods and natural landscape.

TYPICAL FOOD:

PARQUE LOS OCARROS

Its name PARQUE LOS OCARROS comes from an animal named Ocarro

An Ocarro is an armadillo that runs very fast in the sabanas of Meta and Vichada.

This biopark has 193 different species and 1900 specimen

some of the animals that are in this park are:

• The Anteater
• Puma 
• butterfly tiger
• giant river otter 
• the squirrel monkey
• the Orinoco alligator 
• monkey howl

 Biopark los Ocarros coexist  in 5.5 hectares of a lot of  vegetation where they enjoy a beautiful natural.

No limits, each species in its natural habitat. Visitors that go to the park can find swamps, savannah, morichal, gallery forests and rivers where each animal corresponds
